The latest Tubular Shadow is all but ordinary

After confirming that adidas has overtaken Jordan Brand as the number two brand in the United States for sports footwear this past fall, sneaker expert and NDP Group’s sports industry analyst Matt Powell now reveals the top selling footwear for 2017 (in dollar order).

Following closely was Converse’s Chuck Taylor All Star Low (also part of Nike’s branch), the Nike Air Huarache, and adidas’s classic Superstar silhouette taking the fourth spot.

Interestingly, while adidas adidas tubular doom became the second top sportswear brand last year, Nike and Jordan Brand still dominated the top ten list in footwear sales, as it’s rounded out by the Nike Revolution, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 13, Air Jordan 11 and Air Jordan 6, while adidas’ Tubular Shadow was the only other silhouette, aside from the Superstar to grace the list from the Three Stripes.
